Sign up for weekly tips for living an empowered life

In this week’s blog, I am featuring a beer ad. I hope you’re able to watch it.

The beer ad pairs two people of very different political backgrounds. They set up a space together, and then sit down together and talk over a beer. In that simple work and relaxation together, they are able to connect.

We need that, more than ever, today. We’ve had to isolate personally, and we are increasingly isolated politically.

Isolation is not a natural human condition. We were made to be social and be with other humans. Isolation makes us weird.

I hope this beer ad gives you some ideas to help you contribute to our humanity’s healing, and re-open your world.

Thank you, Heineken!

If you’d like to re-open your world by starting counselling sessions, contact me to book a consultation.

Worlds apart – an experiment

Quote of the Week

We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men; and among those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects.”

― Herman Melville
